The Path to Family Reunification

Family immigration visas open the door for U.S. citizens and permanent residents to bring their loved ones to the U.S. These visas are designed to help you reunite with family, whether you’re applying for your spouse, child, or another relative. Here’s how we make it simple for you:

Immediate Relative Visas

  • For close family members of U.S. citizens—no waiting required.
Bring your spouse, parent, or child (under 21) to the U.S. through a fast-track process. There are no annual caps or long waits for these visas, so you can be reunited quickly.
  • Family Preference Visas
For extended family members of U.S. citizens and LPRs.
If you’re a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident, you can petition for your adult children, siblings, or spouse. While these visas may take a little longer, we will be with you throughout the entire process to ensure the smoothest journey possible.

K Fiancé Visa: Bringing Your Fiancé(e) to the U.S.

  • Ready to marry and start your life together?
The K-1 Fiancé Visa allows U.S. citizens to bring their fiancé(e) to the U.S. for marriage. Once your fiancé(e) is in the U.S., you’ll have 90 days to marry and start the next chapter of your life. From there, you can apply for a Green Card and continue building your future together.
  • No more waiting: Your fiancé(e) can join you in the U.S. and marry within 90 days.
  • After marriage: Apply for permanent residency and start your new life together.

We make the K-1 visa process fast, easy, and clear—so you can focus on your marriage and your future.

The Family Immigration Process, Simplified

  • File the Petition
You start by filing Form I-130, which is the first step in the process. It’s a simple form that begins the journey of bringing your loved one to the U.S.
  • Wait for Approval
Once USCIS approves your petition, the National Visa Center (NVC) will process the next steps. If your relative is in the U.S., they can adjust their status here. If they’re abroad, they’ll attend an interview at the U.S. consulate.
  • Green Card Issuance
Once everything is approved, your family member will receive their Green Card—permanent residency in the U.S. And that’s when the real journey begins.

For Those Already in the U.S.

  • Adjustment of Status (AOS): A Simple Path to Permanent Residency
If your family member is already in the U.S. and eligible for a family-based visa, we can help them apply for Adjustment of Status to transition to permanent residency without leaving the U.S.
  • No need to leave: Apply for your Green Card while staying in the U.S.
  • Work & Travel: If eligible, your loved one can apply for a work permit and travel permission while the application is pending.

What If You Entered Without Inspection (EWI)?

  • We know the path to U.S. residency can be challenging, especially if you or your loved one entered the country without inspection. But don’t worry—we have options.
    Available Waivers
Certain waivers, like the I-601A Provisional Waiver, allow individuals to apply for a waiver of unlawful presence before leaving for their consular interview, giving you a chance to stay with your family during the process.
  • No surprises: We’ll help you understand exactly which waiver applies to your situation.
  • Clear guidance: Our team will lead you through the process with transparency and care.

Temporary Protected Status (TPS)

If you or your family member holds Temporary Protected Status (TPS), this can also help with the immigration process.

  • Adjustment of Status: If eligible, you can adjust to permanent residency with the support of a qualifying family member.
  • Work Authorization: While waiting for your Green Card, you can work and contribute to your community.
At our Law Firm, we are here to help those with TPS navigate their pathway to family-based immigration, offering clear guidance for a smoother process.
